Have you seen or know, how a leader, elder, elders, or whatever they call; often still difficulty in motivating his men, or his followers to do what he wants? Still, the followers of these leaders do not understand the words mean, although it has been repeatedly described. So, you know, what was done later by almost all leaders in this world? The answer is only one word … ACTING … Well, the world’s leaders always give examples of words with the intention to act … once again ACT. It was only after that, his followers to understand, and eagerly take immediate actions that are similar to the wishes of the leaders.
Give examples of leaders to act fast … followers do. Leaders talk … just a lot of followers will be confused, sluggish, not the spirit … and … what the hell … Remember this, “actions speak louder than words”. No matter how hard you say about doing something, people still ignore it, “not heard”. But if you give an example with an “action”, then it’s harder “sound” effects on the people to do something soon, and they will act with a burning passion to follow your wishes.
This is the essence, act immediately … Now it’s time to act! An ancient Greek philosopher Sophocles once said, “Heaven never helps people who do not want to act”. Implies the meaning of the phrase was, that nothing will happen and be better, if no action; even “paradise” will not help people who just sit, wait, and just thinking ahead without immediate action. “Heaven” is the highest place in the “hope” every human being. That also means, that the “action”, can we get our highest expectations, which is “heaven”.
“Action” actually is a kind of “universal law”, namely, that it is not likely to happen something, that no action was preceded by. Electric light bulb will not light that we can enjoy, if Thomas Alva Edison was just thinking about it, by not doing an “action” to make experiments. You also can not use a computer, watching television, mobile phone use, and may not be able to enjoy various facilities such as today’s modern world, if previously no one is willing to take action to realize it all.
The current focus is on leadership style. We are all leaders in one way or another. The questions are: Do we give an example, or it’s “do as I say not as I do”? Do we realize that we are the effect of words and our actions to ourselves?
The sound of “actions speak louder than words” has been around since the book first appeared in 1692, Will and Doom, by Gersham Bulkeley when he wrote “The action is more important than words”.
I, like many others, taught that our actions are the things we do with our bodies. Do something with our hands, our feet, our bodies – THAT is the action. Talking about something that does not DO anything – no action.
It seems we have forgotten that the concepts have been around for years – the word – spoken or written – requires action to be given. Our very thoughts are actions in the synapses of our brains.
The idea that “thinking” about something is the same as “doing” something we documented for more than two thousand years ago.
